Once again, my internet connection is throwing a nightly hissyfit (third night in a row now) so a call to my ISP’s support department is in order tomorrow. In the meantime, I’m going to write up this post, then try to log in for long enough to get the store credits for the end of it :-/

This sulky little tart is kind of how I’m feeling about this whole internet connection right now. I know I should be slightly ~concerned by the fact that I’m getting antsy over not being fully connected, when I have hundreds of books around me, tons of personal projects I could be doing, TV I could watch (well, if I can find anything worth watching) and, well more than just sitting in front of a widescreen monitor. But I’m coming down with a cold (either that or allergies are out to get me, big-time) and I’M GONNA WHINE, DAMMIT! :p
So yeah, Skell’s eyes are my eyes right now. Red-rimmed (I slept like shit last night, too; are you sick of the whining yet? *g*) and shadowed. I look and feel like shit, so therefore he’s pretty much the same, even though I put this look together in between waiting for my connection to stop hanging last night, which was before my health went down the tubes. Never mind heroin-chic, I’m rocking knackered-chic. It’s the new thing.
But hey, I’m wearing black leopardskin, so things ain’t all bad. Also, oh man, I finally scored some limited edition Flite footwear. I made it into the 100 elite, baby. *snort* (If you’ve ever battled for a limited edition item, then you KNOW my elation at grabbing these.)
Platform creepers? Oh hell-to-the-YES. And I haven’t even touched the humungous customisation HUD (well, I mean, they were all-black straight out of the box; works for me!)
The pants are old favourites, and I’ve blogged ’em before. The skin is a different shade of the same one I wore for Mr Freaky Hair a couple of posts back, and the perfect hair is something I couldn’t achieve without a lot of product, aching arms, and some swearing IRL. Ahh, if only we could change our RL hair as easily as our SL hair, eh?
I have gorgeous new nail appliers (glittery as anything; I love me some sparklies, as you well know) and a classic necklace. Yeah, despite the sickness and the sulks, I’m doing okay. Maybe 20 minutes of meditation before I go to sleep might help.
Poor lad. He needs a hot toddy, a cuddle from his boy, and an early night.

Oh god, I’d forgotten all about Fashion Pride. I need to try and get there before it closes (if my connection will let me). I’d been eyeballing my L$ balance warily enough what with Skin Fair coming up!
Um, incidentally? You can wear those creepers without the Slink feet, because I… er… was so out of it that that’s exactly what I did. I completely forgot they were for Slink! XD (I’d make copies and wear those, though, since you’ll need to adjust them a tad. I didn’t do that, so it looks as though some manual adjustment will be necessary once I actually wear the damn things properly, with the feet.) I was wondering why the bloody alpha layer wasn’t working! I just assumed it was my connection not letting everything rez properly.
