This is a strong contender for my favourite androgyne look of 2013, and it’s only just squeaked in at the tail end of the year. Thanks to a last-minute buy at TDR Fusion, plus a deep rummage in my inventory, this fragile creature was birthed. He feels as if he inhabits that dusty space between the fading of the seasons.
With a skin from a new-to-me store called Swallow (yes, I know it’s the bird, but it amused me no end to join the group and walk around with a tag that says ‘SWALLOW’ above my name – heh!) at TDR Fusion, plus that deep inventory rummage that led me in the direction of fading seasons, old rotting wood, and insect-turned soil, via this stunning headdress by Paper Moon that I picked up at Horrorfest (now available in the Paper Moon store). Once I had the headdress, I began to get a feel for the direction of this character.
I dug out my trusty Schadenfreude mesh corsets (male sizes included, my fellow freaky boys will be happy to hear) and then realised I needed a frilly, poet-style shirt. I dug and rummaged a bit more, and ended up in my Tamiron Forge folder, where I found exactly what I wanted.
As luck would have it, I spotted another Tamiron Forge outfit folder, and that was where I found the perfect pants and belt for this look. A last dig for footwear had me unearthing these beautiful boots from Senzafine.
