Coats and sparkles! Dunno about you, but that’s my upcoming season ;-)
This flowy coat by Kitt Ragu for ::K:: is fucking gorgeous. You’re going to need a clothing layer top under it, so I dug into inventory to find this sparkly top (complete with belt) from Scars.
The boots are a new release from Lapointe & Bastchild. Yes, they’re womenswear, but each pack contains an unrigged pair that works perfectly for the freaky boys who adore heels, and the resizer allows for individual angles, not just all-over resizing. Also, grab the fatpack, people; L$599 for eleven colours, plus options for texturing the straps and soles, all included in a single HUD.
The skin (complete with makeup) was by Essences, from last month’s Men’s Dept collection. I checked out the Essences store just now, and couldn’t find it, so it may have been a limited edition. Skell’s hair is available, though: it’s a new style from Dura. While you get resizer and non-resizer versions, it’s worth taking the time to manually resize these complex styles that feather along the sides of the face. I’m picky about not having even the smallest hair prim sticking into my cheekbones, so I always adjust hair as soon as I get it.
Skell’s usual Pekka piercings are here (natch; expecting anything else, were you?) and his earrings are also from Pekka. Two necklaces (layering queen, me), both from Maxi Gossamer.
This is quite a skinny look (it feels weird to see Skell looking this small and slender; he may be androgynous, but he’s got shoulders and a bit of muscle on him) but it works with the whole femme aspect of the outfit.
Any clothing layer black pants will work with this look. Skell’s wearing a pair from a black tuxedo set by Gabriel (which, I think, might now be in their outlet store).

Interesting to see a more boyish incarnation of Skell before he hit the gym & those shoulders filled out. ;) Of course I adore the black leopard print in that coat. I did manage to pick up that Lamb skin before it was gone and I love it. Great look as always.
Heh. If you’d seen his original shape then I’d guess he must have hit the gym pretty hard. He used to be a lot more muscular, but he’s toned down to more of a swimmer’s body in recent years: great shoulders and arms, but lean and leggy.
I’m going to recommend the new skin by Essences – the store behind the Lamb skin – at Men’s Dept (once I can get the nail appliers I want; the server is acting up at the moment and refusing to deliver), so check out the demos for that one, too. It’s called Kyle. Same location in the store.
