I hesitate to say that the fashion funk has left for good, but I’m really digging this look, which is always a good sign. (A bad sign, aka the fashion funk, is when nothing whatsoever in my inventory will work with anything else.)
So, I’ve had some classic Thin Lizzy blasting out all evening, and I was going for a rocker look, but the only bits of it that survived were the skin and Aviators. Go figure, and go blame Immerschoen for some incredible mesh work, because it was these pants from there that pulled the look together. Finding really good mesh leather pants has proven to be tricky, because I like ’em tight (no “just crapped myself” baggy crotches, thank you), low-waisted, and with a decent arse and good creasing detail in the mesh (not just the texturing). These fit all those bills beautifully.
Sin Knoller of Scars has been releasing some great new mesh stuff lately, too. I’ve demo’d his newest coats and jackets, and those will probably be appearing here sometime soon, but it was this soft mesh long-sleeved tee that caught my eye (and my wallet). I picked it up in the black shade shown here, and I could never resist black leopardskin, so I nabbed that, too.
The final main clothing item are these fabulous boots from Lucien Marcelo. Close-up on those at the end of the post. First, some white-backgrounded shots, so you can see details, ’cause I’m nice like that ;-)
Since I’m an accessory whore (rule of thumb: when you think you’ve got enough accessories on, take just one of ’em off), I had to dig through inventory. Some of the best Aviators on the grid, from ZOOM, cigarette from Hermony, plus an absolute classic ring from Naith Smit, which I’ve had for years and still love to drag out. There’s nothing like an overstated black diamond skull on your finger, right?
