You have nooooo idea how much fun I had doing this photoshoot today. You’ve got Schadenfreude and Sarah Brightman (holy shit, what a combination) to thank for it, because – after buying this outfit – I had  to go full-on cheesy space-disco. Nothing else for it!

Let’s begin with the outfit, because… well, it’s Schadenfreude. Which means, my sartorial darlings, that boys and girls are catered for in one handy-dandy package. Even the bras and skirts (no, I didn’t wear a skirt; I loved the low, cum-gutter-revealing [oh hush; it’s the perfect name for it!] waistline of the pants too much). Allegory Malaprop, you are a brick; in the best sense of that word.

The goggles are from Remarkable Oblivion. I didn’t quite bankrupt myself at the mainstore after all, but I did spend quite a few L$.

Had to chuck in this shot, even though it’s not all that well-lit. I just loved it.

This discoball. Oh my GOD, let me tell you about this discoball. It’s the best one I’ve ever seen in SL. You’ll need Advanced Lighting enabled, with shadows set for Sun, Moon and Projectors (because it works via projectors) but it’s amazing.

It’s SO good, I spent a bit of time shooting some video and then I took even more time (over an HOUR, FFS!) uploading it to Flickr, so you could see how awesome that damn discoball really is. Here:

Oh, THOSE boots? Mmmm, yeah. Getcher glitter-stomp on with these babies. Seriously, absolute LOVE for these. Schadenfreude, again!

The skybox, incidentally, is free on Marketplace. Lovely little mesh thing, low-LI and with an optional starfield and viewing portal. And yes, you can resize the starfield, because the initial rez is… humungous O.o
